Job Description:
We are currently seeking punctual, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our team as Housekeepers for the upcoming winter season at Niseko Portfolio. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation that define the guest experience across our properties.
As a Housekeeper, your commitment to quality and efficiency will help ensure that each guest enjoys a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in one of Japan’s premier winter destinations.
Responsibilities:
Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, and bed making
Conduct pre-arrival room inspections to ensure all accommodations meet company standards
Complete daily checklists to verify that cleanliness and property conditions are consistently upheld
Identify and log maintenance issues, reporting them promptly to the appropriate departments
Assist with breakfast service and kitchen porter duties
Ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in experience by preparing guest spaces to the highest standard
Respond to guest requests for items such as towels, amenities, and other in-room needs
Maintain and care for cleaning equipment to ensure proper function and safety
Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to support seamless daily operations
Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as a housekeeper is preferred
Genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service
Proven commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (especially Japanese) are an asset
Enthusiasm for travel, outdoor activities, and discovering new destinations
Possession of a valid International Driver's License
Must have, or be eligible for, a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

¥15,000 Staff Accommodation - Just a 5 minute drive from the resort - A staff car will be available under strict rules.
Full-time Employment, Including Paid Training - Work with us from December 1st, 2026 to February 25th, 2027, with the possibility of extending your contract depending on availability and performance.
