Job Description:
We are currently seeking a meticulous and motivated individual to join our team as an Housekeeping Operations & Property Inspector for the upcoming winter season. As an Housekeeping Operations & Property Inspector at Niseko Portfolio, you are responsible for committing to our high standards of cleanliness to ensure our guests' holidays are relaxing and comfortable.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough pre-arrival and post-departure inspections to ensure properties meet quality standards.
Develop in-depth knowledge of all company properties, including layouts, amenities, and features.
Support the housekeeping team with day-to-day tasks as needed.
Manage collection and delivery of linens to and from properties.
Perform garbage collection and disposal duties efficiently.
Collaborate with guest services and other departments to maintain seamless operations.
Transport housekeeping staff between various property locations safely and punctually.
Check functionality of lighting, appliances, and essential fixtures during inspections.
Perform daily inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and property conditions meet our high standards.
Identify and report any damages or maintenance issues promptly.
Help facilitate smooth check-in experiences by ensuring all accommodations are guest-ready.
Confirm that all required amenities, extras, and supplies are stocked and presented properly.
Address guest requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Property Inspector is highly preferred
Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional guest service
Proven commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Fluent in English; additional language proficiency (especially Japanese) is an asset
Genuine interest in travel, outdoor activities, and discovering new places
Possession of a valid International Driver's License
Must have, or be eligible for, a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

¥15,000 Staff Accommodation - Located in the Niseko area
Full-time Employment, Including Paid Training - Work with us from December 1st, 2026 to February 25th, 2027, with the possibility of extending your contract depending on availability and performance.
